The Belt and Road Software Pavilion (Hong Kong) 2024

The large-scale professional exhibition “The Belt and Road Software Pavilion (Hong Kong) 2024” organized by the Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council, The Chamber of Hong Kong Computer Industry, with The Digital Policy Office, The Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association of Information Technology Committee and the Hong Kong Software Industry Association as partners, will be held from August 23 to 24 (Friday to Saturday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Hall 1E. It can accommodate up to 120 exhibiting companies with an exhibition area of approximately 4,000 square meters. This year of “The Belt and Road Software Pavilion (Hong Kong) 2024” will focus on eight major themes - Intelligent Government Affairs, Workflow Optimization Solutions, Technology Risk Management, Large Model Software Generation/ Generative AI Applications, Text/ Graphics Intelligent Identification and Processing, Intelligent Operation, Data Analytics Tools/ Platforms, and Cyber Security Protection. It will bring together 120 top software companies from Hong Kong, Mainland China and other Belt and Road Initiative regions to showcase their software products, as well as innovative technologies and solutions. The target customers are the Hong Kong government, public organizations and commercial institutions. Government departments such as the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the Hong Kong Police Force, the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, the Hospital Authority and the Housing Department will be invited to visit the exhibition. “The Belt and Road Software Pavilion (Hong Kong) 2024” will be a professional software industry exchange platform for promoting R&D achievements and industry strength, driving the upgrade of information technology in organizations, and promoting regional and international exchanges and cooperation. It is a grand expo of the software industry in the Belt and Road Initiative regions.
Hong Kong exhibitors this year can apply for the "SME Export Marketing Fund" (SME Funding) under the Trade and Industry Department. The subsidized expenses include booth rental, advertising fees, booth construction, decoration and design fees, etc. Successful applicants can receive a subsidy of 50% of the total approved expenses paid for the relevant activities or HK$100,000*.
